Gel Tips 101 💅 Step-by-Step Guide to
Lengthen your Nails Quickly & Beautifully!
1. Choose Size
Select the right size of gel tips for each nail. Make sure it covers the nail without overhang.
2. Remember Prep
File, buff, clean & dust your nails.
3. Apply Nail Glue
Apply to the matte underside. Then, place a small bead of glue near the cuticle side of the tip.
4. Press & Hold the Tip
Hold the tip at 45º angle at the cuticle. Gently lower the tip onto the natural nail fo full contact with the glue.
5. Cure Gel Tips
- While you firmly press the nail, flash cure for 5-10 seconds to stabilize the tip.
- Release both hands and cure only the nail tips under the LED lamp for a full cycle.
6. Shape and File
Once the tips are glued on, trim and shape. File with a 100/180 grit. Refine with a buffer or sanding block.
7. Apply Color
Buff the surface (if needed), cleanse, then apply and cure your gel color as usual.
